Education with a difference Special School for the Handicapped with early intervention, parental empowerment and integration into mainstream of education.

At Viklang Punarvas Kendra similar opportunities for education and provided to children with or without special needs. They are attended by specially trained teachers and all required professionals. The centre continues to respond to challenging scenario with 120 children as day scholars with the collaboration of staff. We believe that co-curricular activities extra-campus activities, out reach programs and work experiences are complementary to the intellectual lives of the students. The land mark in the annals of these areas during this year is recognized the following achievements.

Inclusion of disabled children with normal children. Integrated school nursery to V has been started. These children follow normal classes of academic studies and if ever possible are integrated after this into an ordinary school of their own neighborhood.

SPASTIC CHILDREN

C.P. is taken care of in a group where special teachers and therapists are helping them to acquire the skills for life.

The disabled youngsters can learn a trade, each according to their possibilities. At present tailoring, printing, painting, handicrafts, envelop making, candle making, scented stick making are offered.
